RF 100-300mm F2.8 L IS USM Firmware Update, Version 1.0.8

Firmware Ver1.0.8 incorporates the following fixes and enhancements:

1. Improves AF tracking performance during zoom operations in still photography when used with specific cameras*1.
Enhances smoothness of AF tracking during zoom operations in video recording.
*1 Applicable cameras (as of February 20, 2025): EOS R1/EOS R5 Mark II

2. Fixes an issue that, in rare instances, may cause Err 60 to occur when the camera is turned on or resumes operation from the [Auto Power Off] state.

If the lens's firmware is already Ver1.0.8, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
