Our Reconciliation Action Plan

Canon acknowledges and shows respect to the Traditional Custodians of the Lands on which we operate here in Australia.

Our philosophy, Kyosei, envisions the achievement of a sustainable society in which all people regardless of race, religion or culture, live harmoniously and respectfully to work together into the future. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) clarifies the commitment we’ve made to contribute to that future.

Canon’s first RAP was endorsed in 2021 and Reconciliation Australia endorsed our Innovate RAP in September 2024. As part of this plan, Canon works to identify meaningful ways it can contribute to reconciliation that align with its core strengths and capabilities. Our contribution to reconciliation includes support for First Nations visual storytellers to share their stories and educate the community on their cultures, and our role as a corporate employer.
