Your purchase of any Canon product* within Australia which is distributed by Canon Australia is covered by Canon's manufacturer warranty.

In relation to goods supplied in Australia:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Simply order the correct OSS pack at the same time as you purchase your printer
The Pack will be delivered to you with a unique code and instructions on how to register your printer.
Register your pack when you receive your hardware to avoid any disruption. All hardware and OSS packs must be registered with Canon before any service can be delivered under the OSS agreement.
The imagePROGRAF branded printer and PF branded printhead have a 24 month warranty from new. Second-hand devices may not have a warranty. An OSS Pack is available from Canon Australia and provides service coverage for your imagePROGRAF printer for up to five years.
