PowerShot Zoom Firmware Update version 1.1.0

Changes:
Firmware Version 1.1.0 incorporates the following enhancements:

1. Adds Remote Video Mode capturing via the Camera Connect* app.
＊You can shoot not only still images but also movies by remote operation from Camera Connect, an application for smart phones.

2. Adding a short black out time after a still image* is captured.
＊When taking one shot, blackout occurs for each shot.
＊In continuous shooting, blackout occurs only after the first image.

Firmware Version 1.1.0 is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.0.1 If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.1.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware.

The User Manual on our website has been updated accordingly. Please download the User Manual as well as the latest firmware. You can download it from the official website.

Canon Camera Connect App has been updated accordingly:
Please download the Applications as well as the latest firmware.
