Compose images and light the scene in ways not possible with a built in flash. The Speedlite EL-10 features high power output and a guide number of approx 40¹, enabling you to shoot fully-lit, clear and beautiful shots of even distant subjects in full-body shots, group photos and more.
The Speedlite EL-10 flash unit's head can freely turn up to 90° up, 150° to the left, and 180° to the right for creative lighting angles.
The built-in wide panel can be used to support ultra-wide-angle shots of up to 14 mm. When taking an indoor group photo, users can reduce loss of peripheral light for photos that are bright throughout the whole image.
Speedlite EL-10 is compatible with EOS R series camera bodies that feature our new multi-function shoe, providing direct contact points to the camera and enhanced functions like high-speed data communication.
The Camera Connect smartphone app lets users configure wireless flash, release the flash, and check captured images, all with one app. This lets users operate and configure settings with their smartphone without touching the camera or flash.
Catchlight is a term for the light reflected in a person’s eyes. When the panel inside the flash is pulled out before taking a picture, the light reflected in the panel illuminates the subject’s eyes and makes them sparkle.
