A mesmerising display of bioluminescence

Sometimes nature just blows my mind. A mesmerising display of bioluminescence or ‘Sea Sparkle’ along @sapphirecoastnsw last night. Here we have a buildup of the algae in a back lagoon which was illuminating as raindrops hit it. I watched this for hours šŸ˜Æ.

leopard stalking a stork

A quick one shot capture of a leopard stalking a stork, it all happened in a second. I could see something was going to happen and waited for the first flap of the wings…click!

Fire and Storm at Australian outback

Whilst travelling through the Australian outback back in January 2017 during the very early stages of @abstractaerialart, we came across a wet season storm that had set alight the bush surrounding us and found ourselves with a unique opportunity to try and capture nature at its most raw. Unfortunately the weather was far to hostile to attempt using the drone but this was the image we photographed from ground level. Still rates as one of the most exhilarating and scariest experiences of our lives!

Supermoon at Sydney Harbour Bridge

These lucky bridge climbers had a perfect view of Sunday’s Supermoon, and with a bit of planning I was stoked to catch the moon right over the centre of the Sydney Harbour Bridge! This is a single image, no photoshop. šŸ“·

Ocean Wave by Warren Keelan

What inspires me as a photographer? First and foremost, the ocean. This grand body of water connects us all. It’s an element that holds an infinite amount of mystery and as a photographer it provides an endless source of inspiration. From delicate sunlit ripples on the ocean’s surface, to gigantic, detonating slabs of water there’s always something to hold your focus.

Gudgenby Valley in Namadgi National Park

Inspired by the jumping kangaroo of the Qantas logo, this shot has always been in my mind but it was hard to get. While I was away at a two day photography workshop in the Gudgenby Valley in Namadgi National Park, we were walking to a beautiful spot for the portrait in nature session. I saw a group of Kangaroos in front of us and I was hoping for Skippy to cut through. It felt like he read my mind. I took a sequence of 5 shots as he was jumping and this one hit the jackpot.
