Canon Oceania Grants Form

How to apply for the 2024 Canon Australia Grants Program.

Step 1: Check you are eligible by reviewing the qualifying criteria below.

Qualifications/Restrictions
Canon Australia will consider your application if you are an eligible organisation and can demonstrate that the $5,000 ($2,500 in retail value and $2,500 cash) will be used to facilitate an educational, community or environmental project that will benefit the Australian community.

The Canon Oceania Grants Program does not support:

• Political organisations
• Religious organisations
• Sport organisations
• Requests from individuals who are not sole traders
• Fundraising dinners or events
• Capital building, endowment, or debt reduction drives
• Requests from countries outside the scope of the terms and conditions.

Applicants may apply for a Grant in one or more of the following categories:

a) Educational Grant: Open to schools and other educational centres for children and adults alike.

b) Community Grant: Open to organisations that have a positive impact on communities, encompassing cultural and societal causes.

c) Environment Grant: Open to not-for-profits and organisations dedicated to raising awareness of the protection of the environment or promoting sustainable practices.

d) First Nations Grant: Open to any project or organisation that will have a positive impact for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and/or community.

Step 2: If you qualify under the above criteria, please complete the following application form.

Step 3: Please complete all the required fields (denoted by *) and submit on or before Sunday 28 July 2024 (late submissions will not be accepted).

Please note that this form does not save any incomplete submissions. We advise you to save your answers locally and submit the application once complete.

Media:

- Applicants must be willing to speak with media and provide quotes for media outreach if needed.

- Applicants must not announce their win publicly (on website or social networks) until given the go ahead from Canon.

- Applicants must specify if they've spoken to media about their project before and if so, include who, what, when, etc.
