  • What is a Vlogging Camera?

Our selection of Vlogging Cameras are designed to be lightweight and portable, making them easy to carry for on-the-go video blogs. They offer outstanding image and 4K video quality allowing vloggers to stand out with their audience. Our Vlogging Cameras feature vari-angle or tilt up screens making it easier for vloggers to see themselves and ensure they are in focus while filming.
  • Which lenses can I use with Vlogging Cameras?

Our EOS R series Vlogging Cameras are compatible with RF and RF-S lenses. They can also be used with EF and EF-S lenses with an EF-EOS R adapter. For vlogging, we suggest using a wide angle lens that allows you to capture more of your surroundings and provide a broader perspective. Lenses like the RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM and RF 16mm f/2.8 STM make some great options that offer a wide perspective and are lightweight for a comfortable vlogging experience.
  • What accessories are there for Canon Vlogging Cameras?

Canon offers a range of accessories to help build your ultimate vlogging kit. We recommend pairing your camera with the Tripod Grip HG100-TBR which can be used as a handheld grip, tripod and/or Bluetooth remote controller. To elevate your audio quality, use an external microphone like the Stereo Microphone DM-E100 for crisp and superb sound.
  • Which Canon camera is best for vlogging?

Canon has a range of cameras that are well-suited for vlogging, and the best choice depends on your specific needs, budget and preferences. Check out our top vlogging cameras article to find out more about our recommended models.
  • What camera is best for YouTubers?

Depending on your vlogging style, content genre and needs, Canon offers a range of great cameras for YouTubers. If you’re looking for something compact for on-the-go, the PowerShot V10 and PowerShot G7 X Mark III make great options. If you’re looking for more flexibility with an interchangeable lens, consider an EOS R series cameras. For YouTubers doing product demonstrations, the EOS R50 has a dedicated movie for close-up demos mode and UVC/UAC compatibility for plug and play high quality live streaming. • How to use Vlogging Cameras?

    1. Be in focus: Whichever camera you decide to use, flip out your camera’s screen to help you position yourself in the frame and ensure you are in focus.

    2. Keep stable and master audio: To keep shots steady, use alongside the Tripod Grip HG100-TBR for extra support with something to hold. For great sound quality and particularly when vlogging outdoors, consider plugging in an external directional microphone like Stereo Microphone DM-E100.

    3. Video quality and frame rate: Keep In mind what resolution and frame rate you’d like to film at.  A smooth 60fps is best for action vlogs and will give you an option to do slow-motion effects. 30fps or 25fps will usually be suitable for everything else. Once you finalised your preferred settings, position the camera at eye level to maintain a natural perspective and press the record button to start capturing your content.
  • Can Vlogging Cameras take pictures?

Yes, our Vlogging Cameras are capable of taking photos in addition to recording videos. These cameras are designed to be versatile and cater to content creators who may want to capture both video and still images.
