Solution
When the following camera settings have been made, the maximum burst may decrease:
When the [Record func+card/folder sel.] menu’s [Record func.] is set to [Rec. separately] and the recording quality setting for the CF card and SD card is different.
When white balance (WB) bracketing has been set.
If [ 
: High ISO speed NR] is set to [Multi Shot Noise Reduction].
: High ISO speed NR] is set to [Multi Shot Noise Reduction].Changing the above settings will return the maximum burst to normal.
However, depending on the subject, the maximum burst may also decrease in cases other than those listed above. For more information, please refer to the 'Note' below.
Caution
When shooting with a function that merges multiple images, such as Handheld Night Scene mode, shooting will end when the designated number of images for the function has been reached regardless of the image quality setting. The designated number of images for each function is as follows: High Dynamic Range (HDR): 3, Multiple exposure: 2 - 9.
If you shoot something that has fine detail (such as a field of grass), the file size will be larger and the actual maximum burst may be lower than the number indicated in the Instruction Manual.
