The RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM lens is a highly powerful and portable lens for advanced amateurs and professionals shooting sports, wildlife, photo journalism, aviation subjects and more. The focal length range reaches up to 500mm, 100mm more than the existing EF counterpart and can go further with optional 1.4x and 2 extenders . At 1530g with tripod mount, and 207mm when retracted, the RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM is great mobile telephoto option to have.

The RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM allows you to get closer than before with a minimum focusing distance of 0.9m at the 100mm end, allowing you to shoot subjects 8cm closer than its EF counterpart.
