After 30 years of providing house and land packages, Hallmark Homes had amassed a staggering amount of paperwork. They were even storing paperwork in the garages of their display homes. They needed to scan and archive these documents so they could access them easily and shred the originals, using unique job numbers to make their records searchable.
Over the past 8 years, Canon sales partner BBC have worked with Hallmark Homes to develop a basic document management system with Therefore. Therefore is now their document management system which allows them to save all the relevant information into one place so that anyone can find the information as quickly as possible. They refer to Therefore as the central hub of their business. Hallmark have integrated Therefore into their accounts payable system to further streamline their billing process and ensure that all costs are allocated to the correct projects.
Productivity and overheads at Hallmark Homes have improved massively since installing Therefore. The time it takes to locate documentation has been reduced considerably. If they know the job number, they can find anything that they need to know on any given project.
