Announcment: Changes to the Automatic Driver Installation Service for Multi-function (MP) and Single Function Printers.
July 2008: Canon has issued an announcement that the web-based Automatic Driver Installation service will be terminated on 31 August 2008.
Due to the discontinuation of the Automatic Driver Installation Service program by a third party vendor, and that Canon has not been able to find an alternative developer, we can no longer offer this web-based service support.
To all customers seeking the Automatic Driver Installation Service, we extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience resulting from this decision.
Software Drivers for products will continue to be available at www.canon.com.au
The function of this service was to automatically check latest driver versions available (from the internet) for a product, and perform an automatic download and install of the drivers.
