Digital Photography Made Easy, August 2005
"Looking at the 350D, a novice may be rather overwhelmed by the vast array of functions provided by its buttons. However, they are all well labelled, and once you understand what the symbol means, the camera delivers and extremely intuitive system."

"The EOS 350D feels like a proper, solid camera. Nothing too loose or too flimsy to handle. Its body is wonderfully solid to handle even though it's tiny for a DSLR. All in all, it really is amazing quality for the price."

"The menu system is quite easy to navigate with both Custom and Manual white-balance. In Playback, you can choose to display all the EXIF data and a histogram, while the Set-up menu includes a sensor cleaning option.

The 350D meets all the predictions to produce superb image quality. Noise is very low at all ISO points except 1600. Any noise that is visible at ISO 400 looks like film grain. Images are never oversaturated, giving you greated freedom to fiddle with the colour balance during post processing.

The software included is the icing on the cake, including ImageBrowser, Photostitch, remote Capture and Digital Photo Professional.
