The free standing VC-C50i and the ceiling mounted VC-C50iR are not only Canon's most technically advanced, but most affordable remotely controlled cameras of their type. 26x optical zoom

Don't be deceived by it's compact size, the VC-C50i's 26x optical zoom lens provides top-of-the-range magnification. This exceptional surveillance range, combined with Canon's professional-quality photo optics, make the detailed monitoring of large areas easy.

Precision movement

Smooth, precision movement is a key feature of the VC-C50i. The centre-mounted pan and tilt mechanism means there's no jerky movements or vibration. It's also whisper quiet, making it perfect for video conferencing and webcasting.

Exceptional low light performance

Low light? No problem. With the fastest lens in its class (f1.6), a highly sensitive CCD sensor and slow shutter speed capabilities, the VC-C50i produces high-quality video even in the most demanding low light situations. Automatic noise reduction ensures images are as clear as possible.

Infra-red night imaging

Even in complete darkness, the VC-C50i's infra-red night mode captures high-quality black and white images with ease. The camera also features and in-built infra-red light to further assist in low-light imaging.

Flexible control

As you would expect from a Canon camera, the VC-C50i provides a high-degree of photographic control in an easy-to-use way. This includes automatic and manual exposure control, manual focusing, backlight compensation, white balance and more.

Multi-connector simplicity

The very versatile VC-C50i also fits easily into customised system configurations, thanks to a new multi-connector. External devices, including alarm sensors, infra-red lamps and more, simply plug in.

Options

Optional Wide-Converter WL-37 has a magnification lens of .74x, and when attached to the VB-C50i, expands the field of view to 60º.
