1. eMetering: the automation of meter readings. The MFD sends its meter readings to Canon without any manual intervention.
2. eMonitoring: the automatic notification of faults. When a fault occurs on a device, Canon Customer Care receives notification in the form of an e-mail. The fault information sent from the MFD is accurate,
enabling Canon to send the right technician, with the right parts, at the right time.
